SAGE is formally known as TRUFFALUSA NOVEMBER MOON TO MIZANI (2CCs, FTA) owned by Louise Ferguson (Mizani). Highly versatile, as the only Lagotto to have gained a Field Trial Award to date, and truly multi purpose, as his wins/awards in the UK and in Italy at the breed's Raduno have confirmed. Sage is also an active Truffle Hunter, with a grading gained at the CIL Raduno. As a sire, this litter has brought to the fore his lovely temperament and breed type, with five of the nine offspring from Prada gaining awards at Crufts, the ch show ring and in a number of other disciplines in which Lagotti can show their worth. A wonderful combination of excellent type and healthy bloodlines.

Rolo is the youngest Lagotto at just short of 13 months to gain BRONZE, SILVER & GOLD KC Good Citizen qualifications and has since shown his aptitude for Gundog work by gaining a highly respectable 2nd Place at the Welsh Spring Spaniel Club's Minority Spaniel Breeds competition.

Rolo’s swansong from his Puppy and Junior career was Best Dog/Reserve Best In Show at the LRCGB Open Show (October 2025) under breed specialist judge, Lauren Gilder (Mikette). A lovely way to exit and provide a window to continue his training in other disciplines until 2026.

"FIG is our first Lagotto and we could never have imagined the massive joy that little curly-wurly bundle would bring with her! As a gundog breed, she has opened up opportunities in field training for Mark and an introduction to conformation showing at all levels for me. Fig has provided our already outdoorsy family exciting new ‘canine worlds’ and a wonderful circle of friends.
Fig qualified for Crufts at her first championship show, which enabled us to exhibit at this amazing show in 2025 and again in 2026, with strong places each time. We were very proud and totally hooked! What a couple of years was had, learning to present and handle Fig and we also ventured into Special Beginner competition as our partnership grew. In addition to a number of wins and RBOB/BOB awards at Open level, THREE CH SHOW SB GROUP AWARDS were gained…

In the Lagotto breed ring, Fig showed in her final Junior class and gained Reserve Best of Sex at both Midland Counties and the LRCGB Open Show. We are excited to see what 2026 will bring - and add more excitement by competing in the the Breeders' ring too - and we cannot thank those that have helped us along the way sufficiently. The Bedeslea Team is our ‘canine family’ now! Thank you each one!"

Womble has already proven himself as an amazing Noseworker, competing in Scentwork and Truffle Hunting and gaining awards. His Gundog work is progressing well and he has gained several show awards, including Crufts 2025 and 2026 under highly regarded judges.

Lucy made her mark by gaining high awards at Crufts 2025 and 2026 and gained a 1st prize and other high placings in Truffle competion in 2025. Truly dual-purpose and much loved.
